After the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event went off-air, former US Champion Happy Corbin sneaked into the ringside and attacked Pat McAfee. Later, he delivered the End of Days to the SmackDown commentator in front of the announce desk. This led to a minor neck injury to Pat McAfee.

Recently, the NFL Punter gave an update on his medical condition. In a recent tweet, he said, “I’ve been laid up all day resting my back/neck because of this cowardly blindside attack from last night… I think imma be ok… BUT BUM A** CORBIN WON’T BE AFTER SUMMERSLAM.”
The rivalry between both men began a few weeks back when Corbin lost a match with his ex-employee Madcap Moss. Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss competed in the Last Laugh match when Pat McAfee disrespected Corbin and recalled his recent actions against his former employee.

Last week on Friday Night SmackDown, Pat McAfee openly challenged the former US Champion for a match at SummerSlam. Many fans appreciated McAfee for laying an open challenge against Corbin. Although Corbin didn’t react at first, his recent attack on McAfee made the match official. At SummerSlam, both men will face each other to settle their dispute.

WWE’s Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, Triple H, and on-screen personality Pat McAfee appeared at UFC 276. In addition, AEW CEO Tony Khan and WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross were also present. During the UFC 276 appearance, WWE fans saw Pat McAfee in a neck brace.
