Since 2018, WWE has also started the Women’s Royal Rumble which has brought several superstars from WWE’s development brand. Meanwhile, the company also brings back WWE Hall of Famers and last year wrestling fans saw WWE’s first-ever forbidden door for the Women’s Royal Rumble bringing back Impact Knockout’s Champion Mickie James.

As per the latest reports, WWE has finalized its lists but unfortunately, the NXT locker room is not aware of any potential spots for them. The NXT’s women’s division is quite unaware of any potential call-ups as of mid-week.

Recently, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio gave an update on the Women’s Royal Rumble and potential NXT call-ups for the Royal Rumble matches. Eventually, he mentioned the NXT Talent is on wait to hear anything for an entrant spot for Saturday’s PLE.

“As of midweek, NXT talent, particularly women, were waiting to hear if anyone was being brought to the Rumble. Given 30 spots and far fewer than that number of women on the roster, there had been talk of different names being used.

Ronda Rousey will not be in the Rumble (or at least that was the decision as of midweek) because of the feeling that they didn’t want to marginalize her star power by being just someone in the match since she wasn’t going to win it or be the focal point, and Charlotte Flair, rumored to be in, at press time was not to be in because she’s Smackdown champion. Rhea Ripley has been the betting line favorite to win.” [H/T Ringside News]

Currently, there are some rumors regarding possible spots for two women to win Royal Rumble. However, there is no official confirmation until WWE makes it in reality.
