As far as the Women’s Tag Team Championships are concerned, WWE is going to organize a tournament to find its next Champions. However, on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez reported that WWE hasn’t made any plans yet.
“That women’s tag team tournament is like dead now. Yeah, not a word. They had an idea for four women’s teams whatever they end up being. It was pitched but it was never signed off on as of like a week ago. Now, I have no idea what’s going on, it’s like not a word.” (H/T- Wrestling News.Co)
Since the departure WWE hasn’t spoken one bit about the Women’s Tag Team Championships. Unfortunatley, the chances of them being in contention look less.
WWE News: WWE Raw Commentator Comments on Corey Graves Getting Heat for the Sasha Banks and Naomi Situation
On the May 16th episode of WWE Raw, Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out on the company. Corey Graves constantly brought up the pair calling them unprofessional, he received some heat from the fans for his comments during the show.

In his defence, WWE Raw commentator Jimmy Smith spoke about this incident. He claimed Graves was doing what the boss told and wasn’t doing things out of his own mind. Here is what Smith said in an interview with Unlocking the Cage.
“What I don’t get at all is the heat that my broadcast partner, Corey Graves, is getting.They gave him something to read and much like Michael Cole, he toned it down a little bit. But guys, Michael Cole and Corey Graves aren’t making this stuff up. If Vince said, ‘Here, read this’, I would have done exactly what Michael Cole did. Corey Graves is getting all this s—. Corey Graves didn’t make up that statement. He’s a broadcaster and was told to read it and he read it. So I understand the ire of the fans, but the misdirection of that ire is weird.”
We hope the Sasha Banks and Naomi situation gets resolved with the WWE and they are back soon. It will certainly a win-win for all parties.
