As per recent reports, John Cena is much more likely to perform at WrestleMania Hollywood. There are several superstars who are already pitched in for the Prototype’s match at the biggest event of the year.
Recently, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio reported John Cena’s return for WrestleMania 39. Also, he stated the 16-time champion is much more likely to compete rather than the Brahma Bull.

“Cena’s not 100% either by the way, but he’s got a movie in February and March so he’s not gonna be able to do a lot of TV. He will do the show if he’s available, but it’s the same thing. He may have other things going on. I was told… I guess the best way to put it is Cena is a ‘probable’, and Dwayne is a ‘possible’.” [H/T WrestleTalk]
Currently, there are no official confirmations of his WrestleMania match but it seems he will return for a major showdown.

WWE News: John Cena to wrestle at the last Friday Night SmackDown show of the year
Last week, WWE announced a mystery partner for Kevin Owens’ tag team match on the December 30 episode of WWE SmackDown. On the recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Roman Reigns and The Bloodline fired shots at the former Universal Champion when John Cena bumped in video footage.

In the video, John Cena announced that he will be tagging with Kevin Owens to fight Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn in a tag team match. Also, he mentioned he has a last chance to continue his streak to wrestle at least one match every year. Since the 2021 SummerSlam, Cena hasn’t competed in a match on the main roster. The year-end match will continue his streak.
