WWE News: Former WWE Champion Fires Shot at Boxing Champion Tyson Fury
Recently, The Gypsy King defeated Dillian Whyte in the 6 round with a KO. During the post-match interview with ESPN, Fury and UFC Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou had a brief encounter and gave a hint about their future showdown. Later, Fury pointed out Drew McIntyre, who he thinks to deliver a KO.
However, Drew McIntyre also replied to the bold comments of the boxing champion Tyson Fury. During his recent appearance on WalesOnline, McIntyre gave a brief reply to the heavyweight boxer. Eventually, the Scottish Warrior appreciated the publicity from Tyson Fury.
“You’ve got to go with the belts [WWE and Universal Championships]. The Fury thing would be a huge spectacle. Such a big name in his world and I’m a big name in our world, especially being the first ever British WWE champion. It would be a huge attraction match and I know I’d get a great match out of him. Drew McIntyre is willing to fight the boxing legend with the Undisputed Universal title. Earlier, both men took shots at each other to give a massive build for their future showdown.
Tyson Fury Battled Against former WWE Universal Champion
Tyson Fury is famous in the boxing sport as well as in WWE. Earlier, the boxing champion fought the former Universal Champion Braun Strowman at Crown Jewel, where he defeated the Monster Among Men.
At Crown Jewel 2019, both men encountered each other in the battle fo heavyweights. Although Strowman showed his power to overcome the Gypsy King, he failed to withstand Fury’s punches. The match ended up in a winning effort for Fury and later he also hinted a future tag team alliance with Strowman.

For now, the context is out of the book as WWE has released Braun Strowman. However, fans might expect a possible return for Tyson Fury for the upcoming Premium Live Events to challenge Drew McIntyre.
