Drew McIntyre is one of the top well-built superstars in WWE with an insane physique and large structure. Recently, the former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre gave his honest thoughts on having a well-built physique and how it helps the wrestler to perform well in the ring. McIntyre believes being a strong and healthy athlete would gradually push your recovery capacity of the body faster.

In a recent interview with Men’s Health, McIntyre recalled his time of recovery and how he trains himself to be fit. Whether you’re a larger or smaller Superstar, the thing we all have in common is we want to be explosive. It’s a highly athletic contest and you want to avoid injury. You’ve got to keep up, so you have to keep your body in shape. My workouts are designed for strength and explosiveness, along with a lot of stretching. Moreover, the Scottish Psychopath gave his personal five exercises to build and maintain a strong athletic body. He named barbell deadlifts, shoulder presses, barbell bench presses, bicep curls, and belt squats. These are his personal favorite exercises for maintaining his physique.

Drew McIntyre is one of the most powerful WWE Superstars on the roster with incredible strength and body structure. McIntyre had trained his body to the next level to reach an absolutely new level.

It is pretty insane that McIntyre holds a massive power within himself. Eventually, the Scottish Psychopath bench presses 375 lbs at a time with a volume of 8 to 10 reps. This is something hard for an ordinary person to perform so high. McIntyre’s workouts contain compound exercises like deadlifts, barbell squats, and shoulder presses.
