On the recent episode of Monday Night Raw, Cody Rhodes addressed the WWE Universe. During his recent promo, he recalled his loss at WrestleMania 39 against Roman Reigns in front of a huge crowd. Further, he revealed that it wasn’t his embarrassing moment until Brock Lesnar betrayed him the next night.

The American Nightmare called Brock Lesnar a predator who looks at others as his victim. He mentioned how the former Universal Champion destroyed WWE Legends like John Cena, The Rock, and The Undertaker. However, Rhodes said he won’t be letting this happen to himself as he will seek his retribution against Brock Lesnar face-to-face in a one-on-one match. Eventually, Cody Rhodes challenged Brock Lesnar to a match at WWE Backlash.

This will be the first time both men will square off in the wrestling ring at WWE Backlash. Although Lesnar is yet to answer the call, WWE has finalized their main event for WWE Backlash as two big superstars collide.
