WWE News: Becky Lynch makes a huge claim ahead of the 2023 Royal Rumble
Back in 2019, she won the Royal Rumble and main evented WrestleMania 35 in a triple threat bout in a Winner Takes All match. Surprisingly, she won the match after defeating Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair to become the first woman to hold both belts simultaneously. Now, she is aiming to make history once again by winning the 2023 Royal Rumble.
In a recent interview with WWE UK, she talked about several subjects and mentioned her goals for the year 2023. The first thing she said was about winning the Royal Rumble and headlining WrestleMania once again writing her name in the history books.
“I mean, you always hope to win,” Lynch admitted. “If you’re entering the Royal Rumble, then you always hope to win. So that’s the plan. Win the Royal Rumble and go on to Main Event at WrestleMania twice. That’s the goal.” [H/T Sportskeeda]
The upcoming 2023 Royal Rumble will take place at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas on January 28th, 2023. This PLE will kick off the Road to WrestleMania.
