During the match, we saw Charlotte Flair tapped out after Ronda Rousey twisted her arm in the armbar submission entangled in the steel chair. Later, WWE reported Charlotte Flair suffered a fractured radius, which is one of the long bones in the arm. As per the reports, WWE scripted the injury for Charlotte Flair to take some time off from WWE.
Recently, Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer reported Charlotte Flair’s scripted injury to take off some time from WWE for her wedding with former WWE Superstar Andrade. Moreover, the former SmackDown Women’s Champion revealed her wedding plans in a recent interview with BT Sports’s Ariel Helwani.
“We have a [wedding] date. It’s this summer in Mexico, I have my dress. I think Manny (Andrade) would be a little angry if I walked down the aisle with my title. He was like, ‘Mami, for the wedding, I do not want your hair to look like Charlotte.’ I was like, ‘what does that mean?’ Just less makeup. He likes the fresh face.” [H/T Wrestling Inc]
Currently, Andrade competes in the AEW promotion since he departed WWE in 2021. Soon, Charlotte Flair and Andrade will tie knots in summer.
