Sasha Banks walked out of WWE in 2022. Later on, she made her debut in NJPW in January 2023. She is now a wrestler in NJPW and wrestles under the ring name Mercedes Moné.
What did Sasha Banks say?
During a recent interview with Under The Ring podcast, Sasha Banks said “Wrestling is such a universal language. When you’re in there, you don’t have to say anything, you just gotta flow.”
She mentioned that when she was in Mexico, she went along with the Luchadors and when she was in Japan she went along with them too, even though she was unable to understand what they were saying.
She added that she loves to learn every single style because she wants to be the best in every area. She said, “when it comes to Japanese wrestling, European, Mexico — I wanna be the absolute best.”
She said she has been travelling the world and training with the best possible trainers and best possible wrestlers from all generations.
And then she said, “This is for my own growth in the future as well because one day I want to have my own wrestling school.”

She mentioned that she wants to learn all those different techniques and styles because she wants to impart them to her students one day. Banks said that she wants to teach her students to be the “greatest of all time“.
