Elimination Chamber is all set to begin on February 18, 2023. The most anticipated match of the event will be between Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn for the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship. However, ahead of the event Reigns took his Instagram handle to post an update warning his opponent Sami Zayn.
The update stated ” Cherish this time with your family @SamiZayn, because in 10 days at #WWEChamber I smash and humiliate you in front of the whole world.”

What led to the match between Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn?
At the 2023 Royal Rumble, Roman Reigns faced Kevin Owens. Reigns brutally defeated Owens and continued to thrash him even after winning the match. Reigns then went ahead to beat KO with a steel chair when Sami Zayn stopped him. However, Roman Reigns handed over the chair to Zayn to continue the beating. This is when the WWE Universe witnessed the best twist possible. In a turn of events, Zayn thrashed Reigns with the steel chair. However, Jimmy and Solo then joined Reigns and knocked down Zayn. Jey Uso on the other hand left the event looking shocked. The entire Bloodline left with Sami Zayn lying helpless in the ring. Following that, another feud took place at SmackDown.

What happened at SmackDown on February 3, 2023?
At SmackDown Roman Reigns entered the ring and talked about Zayn. Stating ‘his side of the story‘, Reigns mentioned how he saw ‘greed’ in Sami Zayn’s eyes, mentioned how he gave Sami Zayn an “opportunity of a lifetime” and all Zayn did was to use him, use the bloodline and the island of relevancy.
With that, Sami Zayn entered the ring and attacked Roman Reigns. A fight broke out between the duo, however, Zayn speared Reigns and Reigns got out of the ring.
Sami Zayn then addressed Reigns and stated that he never wanted anything from Reigns but now he will. Zayn stated that he will be going after Roman Reigns and the Undisputed Universal Championship.
With that, Jimmy and Solo entered the ring and attacked Sami Zayn ruthlessly. However, Reigns interfered and said to Zayn that the latter broke his family and he would give Zayn what Zayn wants.
Reigns announced that he will break Sami Zayn down at the Elimination Chamber in front of his whole family, just like Sami Zayn did.
