WWE Day 1 WWE Championship: Brock Lesnar is your new WWE Champion

After Roman Reigns tested positive for COVID-19 earlier in the evening, his match against Brock Lesnar got nixed. Therefore, the Beast Incarnate got added to the WWE Championship match and it became a fatal 5-way. Carnage and chaos were on display during the entire match as all five 5 men took the State Farm Arena by storm.

After hitting Seth Rollins, Big E, and Kevin Owens with simultaneous F5s, Brock got hit with a devastating spear by Bobby Lashley. The latter went for a cover, but Brock survived and ultimately emerged the victor in the match by pinning the defending champion Big E after yet another F5.

WWE Day 1 WWE Championship: Beth Phoenix returned

WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix returned to help her husband, the Rated-R Superstar Edge, overcome the odds against The Miz. Beth was speculated to join the ongoing rivalry between the Miz and Edge to make it a couple vs. couple program, but only a few expected her to show up tonight at the WWE Day 1 PPV event.

Beth made her appearance when Maryse was, again and again, intervening in the match and helping her husband Miz. Beth came out on the ramp, followed Maryse around the ringside, and made her walk off the ramp. Her act helped Edge hit Miz with a spear and stand tall after the match.

WWE Day 1 WWE Championship: The Migos came out with RK-Bro

Randy Orton & Riddle successfully defended their Raw tag-team titles against The Street Profits. The match was worked pretty well, but the biggest highlight of the bout was the world-famous rapper The Migos came alongside Randy & Riddle to the ring.

The Migos were given separate seating next to the announce desk, and they were present during the course of the match. After RK-Bro’s victory, The Migos went into the ring to celebrate with the Raw tag-champs and also appreciated the effort put up by the Street Profits.
