1. Barbora Krejcikova (World No.3):
- Barbora Krejcikova will play her maiden WTA Finals of her career.
- The 25-year-old qualified for the tournament after winning her maiden Grand Slam title at French Open and her consistency throughout the season.
- Barbora Krejcikova is the only Grand winner of the season to play WTA Finals this year.
- Ahead of the year-end tournament, she has played 16 tournaments, out of which she won 3, including a French Open title, and earned a total of 4,518 points.
- She was drawn in the Group Teotihuacan alongside Karolina Pliskova, Gabrine Muguruza and Annett Kontaveit.
- Pliskova and Muguruza will be Krejcikova’s top challengers.
2. Iga Swiatek (World No. 6):
- Iga Swiatek became the first women’s tennis player born in the 21st century to qualify for the WTA Finals.
- The 20-year-old was the defending champion of the French Open this year, but her title defense came to an end after losing to Maria Sakkari of Greece in the quarterfinals.
- Iga Swiatek has played 14 tournaments and won two titles and earned a total of 3,226 points ahead of the year-end tournament.

3. Karolina Pliskova (World No.4):
