But Sophia Dunkley was on another level altogether. She made her attacking intent clear from the first ball. But it was the fifth over where she unleashed. Preeti Bose went for 23 runs as she ripped RCB bowling apart.

With that, she also equalled Sophie Devine of NewZealand. The Kiwi batter smashed 18-ball 50 for the fastest half-century in Women’s T20Is. She eventually departed for 65 off just 28 deliveries. Her knock included 11 fours and 3 sixes. Only 5 runs came from singles.
