WPL 2023: Women’s Premier League – Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have unveiled their jersey for the inaugural Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2023 campaign. The Bangalore-based team, which is sponsored by Kajaria Tiles, used their Twitter account to reveal their kit in advance of their inaugural WPL season. The RCB unveiled their uniform, which was, as one might imagine, entirely coloured with pigment red, American gold, and pine tree. “Introducing our Bold and Stylish kit for #WPL2023! A huge shout out to our title sponsor @KajariaCeramic , our principal sponsors Mia by Tanishq, @Dream11, Vega Beauty, Himalaya Face Care and @pumacricket,” the franchise wrote on Twitter with a series of pictures of the squad. However, Ellyse Perry was not seen in the squad photographs, leaving RCB supporters to speculate as to her whereabouts.

RCB will unquestionably be the side to watch as they acquired 18 players in WPL auction, including some of the top names in women’s cricket, like Smriti Mandhana, Megan Schutt and Ellyse Perry from Australia, Sophie Devine from New Zealand, Heather Knight from England, and Richa Ghosh. Mandhana, who was also named captain, ended up becoming the most expensive player after joining RCB for an astounding Rs 3.4 crore.
