New Zealand have been brilliant across all formats and the upcoming T20 World Cup final will be their straight final appearance in an ICC tournament. The Blackcaps had made the final of the 2019 50-over World Cup losing out on boundary count, but clinched the World Test Championship title earlier this year with a win over India. Now the final on Sunday gives Kane Williamson and Co. the opportunity to add a maiden T20 World Cup title to their honours, and truly cement their legacy as one of the finest all-format teams. Incidentally, New Zealand had reached the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup in 2016, while making the finals of the 2015 World Cup.
2) Best Fielding Unit in the World –
New Zealand are arguably the best fielding side in the world and their athleticism has been on display throughout the T20 World Cup. In Kane Williamson, Martin Guptill, Daryl Mitchell, Devon Conway and Glenn Philips, the Kiwis boast some of the finest catchers of the ball, with Conway and Mitchell in contention for the catch of the tournament. Their commitment on the field is second to none, with Philips nearly injuring his wrist in an attempt to save the boundary against England.

3) Best Captain who can play & lead in all formats with aplomb – UNLIKE Rest of the World
While the rest of the world has jumped on the split captaincy bandwagon, Kane Williamson continues to lead the Kiwis in all formats and with great consistency. One of the finest all-format players, Williamson has done a terrific job leading the team, with the World Test Championship win being the high point in their journey. Should New Zealand win, he’ll be one of the few captains to win titles across different formats, with only MS Dhoni having done so.
4) Best Bowling Unit – Boult, Southee, Wagner & others / Spinners also making presence felt
While Kane Williamson has led from the front with the bat, veterans Tim Southee and Trent Boult have formed one of the finest dual acts across formats in international cricket. The duo are consistent in all three formats and have an able support cast in Neil Wagner, Kyle Jamieson, Lockie Ferguson. Without a question, New Zealand is the most likeable team on the planet and Kane Williamson and Co. steer clear from controversy. Despite facing off against the fiercest of opposition and some of the most reactionary fanbases in England, Australia, and India, the Kiwis have earned nothing but respect from their contemporaries. The Blacaps have always played with a smile on their face and have some of the most down to earth cricketers who go about their business as usual.
