World Cup 2023 Schedule: The excitement an the buzz for the India vs Pakistan clash in the ICC World Cup 2023 remains as intriguing as ever. With the World Cup Schedule yet to be finalized, India is set to play their group stage games across 9 different venues. However, the selection of the venue for the much anticipated IND vs PAK will be decided in the upcoming ICC meeting.
As reported earlier by InsideSport, Chennai is the likely host for India vs Pakistan game. However, if Pakistan make it to the semifinals or final, they will play games at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
“We are meeting ICC officials tomorrow to discuss the fine prints of the schedule. Once that’s done, we will have it for you. By Monday, we should have the final schedule,” a senior BCCI official told InsideSport.

As per ESPN CricInfo, the BCCI has recently shared a draft schedule for the tournament. In that draft schedule it has been revealed that India will play across 9 venues in their group stage games.

As per the draft schedule, the much awaited tournament will kick start on the 5th of October as 2019 finalists England and New Zealand lock horns against each other. India on the other hand will begin their campaign against the mighty Australia on the 8th of October at Chennai. The opening game between ENG vs NZ will however be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad which will also host the finals of the tournament.
