Women World Boxing Finals LIVE – Nikhat Zareen WINS GOLD: India’s Nikhat Zareen clinched the gold medal at the Women’s World Boxing Championship as she defeated Thailand’s Jitpong Jutamas 5-0 in the flyweight (52kg) final of the Women’s World Championships in Istanbul on Thursday. Women World Boxing Finals LIVE: Nikhat Zareen wins GOLD MEDAL, defeats Jitpong Jutamas 5-0 in World Championship Final

Before Nikhat, Mary Kom has won the gold medal six times in the championships, while Sarita Devi, Jenny RL and Lekha KC too have clinched the gold. With Nikhat’s victory India  finished the tournament with 1 Gold medal and two bronze medals in the tournament. Manisha Moun has won the bronze in 57 kg and Parveen Hooda too clinched India’s second bronze in the 63 kg.

With the victory in the final, Zareen has won every bout in the championship with an unanimous decision, which shows her dominance throughout the tournament.
