The DIG’s comments came during a meeting, chaired by Additional Chief Secretary Home, Sindh, Qazi Shahid, with additional AIGs Ghulam Nabi Memon and Amir Ahmed Shaikh, senior police, rangers, army, and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials in attendance.

West Indies will tour Pakistan for full-fledged white ball series comprising 3 One-Day Internationals and three T20 Internationals starting from 13 December.

The security confirmation comes when two nations, New Zealand and England, had canceled their tours to the subcontinent one after the other. Also, teams have been reluctant to play Pakistan in their backyard over security threats.
