Manchester City jumped back to the top of the Premier League after cruising past Watford at Vicarage Road.
It took City just four minutes to take the lead when Raheem Sterling was left unmarked to head home Phil Foden’s pinpoint cross. After Jack Grealish and Sterling went close to doubling the visitors’ lead, Bernardo added their second after reacting quickest to fire beyond Daniel Bachmann.
Bernardo continued his fine run of form in the second half, securing his brace after drifting inside from the right and curling beautifully into the far corner. Cucho Hernández netted a consolation for the hosts after his initial effort was saved by Ederson but they were outclassed considerably by their opponents.

There may have only been a two-goal gap between them in the final analysis, but Manchester City were always on top against a hesitant Watford side and should have scored more at Vicarage Road.
