Though we do not know, if what Khamzat Chimaev claims is true, last year he did make a public announcement, after connecting with the football star Cristiano Ronaldo over Instagram. Khamzat Chimaev said that he had directly dm’d Ronaldo asking him to come to the arena to watch him fight against his opponent Gilbert Burns.

Chimaev wrote that though he had invited Ronaldo to watch him fight in the octagon, Ronaldo had to turn down the offer politely as he had an important match scheduled on the same date. Instead, Ronaldo wrote him to smesh all his opponents and emerge victorious.
