After a rather disappointing start when Ishan Kishan was dismissed. Cameron Green, promoted up the order and took the reins of the run chase. He formed a solid partnership with skipper Rohit Sharma as both explosive batters continued to punish the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Towards the end, Suryakumar Yadav too put lit up the Wankhede with his massive hits.
But it was a complete show from Cameron Green. He thrashed the SRH bowlers, hitting 8 fours and 8 sixes, thereby batting with a tremendous run rate of 213. Such has been his blasting innings, that the Wankhede gave him a standing ovation!
This win has changed the complexion in the Playoffs race and the Points Table. With this win Mumbai Indians are 4th in the IPL Points Table. They now have 16 points with a NRR in the negative.
