Strickland had also passed another message last week where he showed his desire to fight Israel Adesanya.
The middleweight champion is now without a challenger and will most likely be facing the victor of Saturday’s UFC 290 bout between Robert Whittaker and Dricus Du Plessis. However, the 32-year-old believes that he really should own that particular space.

Fans didn’t find the comment very pleasing made on the podcast, as people commented on the post ‘ Sean “expert on shitty people “Strickland”’. While someone else commented on his demand to fight Israel with, “He’s talking his way to the championship fight lol”.

Given the ongoing conflict between Adesanya and Du Plessis (and his lengthy relationship with Whittaker), it seems doubtful that Strickland would be at the top of the UFC’s list, but it’s not impossible to imagine that the fight would actually happen.
