This time, the UFC visits Brazil and features some local fighters in the octagon.
The legendary Brazilian MMA fighter has also shown his soccer prowess in his native country. “Shogun” had “Brazilian soccer fever” before his game. He was using his football to demonstrate some of his juggling abilities. Mauricio Rua successfully juggled a few times but tripped and fell upon the UFC marketing panel. Fortunately, the legend avoided suffering any injuries in the process.
Rua made his PRIDE FC debut after only five professional matches, the last of which saw him suffer his first loss. Before switching to the UFC, where he won the world title, Rua rose to become one of the Japanese goliath company’s top 205-pound fighters.
