VIDEO: Andrew Tate lawyer about Top G arrest
Lawyer Eugen Vidineac, who represents the Tate brothers, said to Romanian news outlet Gandul that the defense was not given a chance to review the prosecution’s case file, and there was no evidence of human trafficking.
“I will state up front that even as of right now, the criminal investigation file has not been made available to us to assure the successful defense of our clients. In this regard, I would like to emphasize—at least from this perspective—that there isn’t a single piece of evidence, aside from the victim’s account, that suggests that a crime of rape was committed.”

“Top G Comments on Social Media cannot be a reason for the arrest,” says his lawyer
Concerning allegations that the Tate brothers disregarded women, Mr. Vidineac stated: “They say these concerns are pulled out of context, out of some interviews they have done on social media. However, they also claim that if we live our lives surrounded by over 300 individuals, both men and women, we have many girlfriends and supporters worldwide, we’ve been out in public with our girlfriends constantly, and our girlfriends haven’t complained.”
“People with one of the Tate brothers have publicly stated that they are not the aggressive, illiterate, abusive character currently depicted.”
Lawyer Vidineac speculated about the potential significance of social media in the case, saying: “In the case of the Tate brothers, I don’t know what their intention was in promoting themselves on social media, but I sit here and wonder, can that intent from the social media stand as evidence in a criminal prosecution case, concerning a criminal character?”
