Andrew Balbirnie-led Ireland men’s cricket side is the first Full ICC Member men’s team to tour the United States to play against the USA men’s national side. It is also the first-ever multi-format white-ball series between USA and Ireland.
The multi-format series features T20Is followed by 3 ODIs. All five matches be played at a single venue – Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground, Lauderhill, Florida
USA are currently ranked 30th in the world for T20Is while Ireland is 13th in the ICC team rankings for the shortest format.
Ireland will be looking to shrug off their T20 WC disappointment with a series win in the USA. The Irish side failed to advance into the Super 12 round after managing just 1 run from three group-round fixtures.

Both sides last met in the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier in 2015 in Belfast, Dublin. Ireland turned out victorious by 46 runs in that meeting and will again start at favorites.
