The 25-year-old Zverev suffered horrific ankle injury during the semifinal contest against Rafael Nadal at the Roland Garros this year. He underwent surgery in June after damaging ligaments in his right ankle and is recuperating at the moment. “Alexander Zverev has withdrawn from the US Open.
