Ultimate Kho Kho: The Ultimate Kho Kho (UKK), promoted by the Chairman of Dabur – Amit Burman has two new franchise owners. KLO Sports and Capri Global have bought two franchises for the inaugural season. Earlier, Delhi Capitals co-owners GMR Group and Adani bought franchises. KLO Sports will be the owner of the Chennai franchise and Capri Global is the owner of the Rajasthan franchise. Furthermore, Ultimate Kho Kho roped in Adani Group and GMR Group as the owners of the Gujarat franchise and Telangana franchise, respectively. Sony Pictures Network India (SPN) has acquired the broadcasting rights of Ultimate Kho Kho.

Ultimate Kho Kho: Sanjay Jupudi and Srinath Chittoori are co-owners of KLO Sports. The KLO Sports-owned franchise has named their squad Chennai Quick Guns. KLO Sports’ expertise lies in construction, automobiles and IT sectors. Capri Global Group has not yet named their team. They are a leading financial service conglomerate. Also, Capri Global owns a franchise in the UAE T20 League happening soon.

The aim of KLO Sports is to make Kho Kho a mainstream sport in India and it strongly believes that the UKK has potential. KLO Sports will invest in grassroots and creating a platform for the fans.
Sanjay Jupudi, co-owner of KLO Sports and founder of Qentelli said, “Our goal is to help Kho Kho become a mainstream sport in India. We believe that the franchise has huge potential, and it can bring a rather forgotten sport back into every household. Apart from investing in the grassroots, KLO sports will also invest heavily in building a platform that will engage with fans and will become a role model for all sports franchises.”

Capri Global’s aim is to promote training at the grassroots level and support making India a leading sports nation.
