Noche UFC UFC Fight Night 228 may serve as the catalyst for a future pay-per-view in Mexico and mark a significant occasion on the calendar for years to come.

With Noche UFC, it appears the UFC is trying to capitalise on the craze. Live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on September 16. Alexa Grasso (16-3) of Mexico, the current UFC women’s flyweight champion, will defend her title against Valentina Shevchenko (23-4), a former champion and legendary figure in women’s MMA.

A few of the athletes on the Noche UFC programme will be the subject of pre- and post-fight interviews backstage by veteran UFC reporter Megan Olivi, who will also provide additional real-time information for the event.

When is the Shevchenko vs. Grasso 2 press conference?

In the United States, ESPN+ streams the whole Noche UFC programme.

Prelims, which are initially scheduled to start at 7 p.m. ET, will be followed by the main card lineup at 10 p.m. ET.

The only remaining UFC champion from Mexico is Alexa Grasso, who will defend her title against former division leader Valentina Shevchenko this weekend (Sat., Sept. 19, 2023) inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Kevin Holland vs. Jack Della Maddalena at Welterweight and Daniel “Golden Boy” Zellhuber vs. Christos Giagos at Lightweight are also featured on Noche UFC.

Grasso previously stunned the world at UFC 285 by submitting Shevchenko in the fourth round despite being a +450 underdog, and she now has the opportunity to show that her victory wasn’t an aberration. As she attempts to overcome one of the greatest fighters of all time once more, she will enter the Octagon with the backing of a whole nation.

Since this is a Fight Night event rather than a pay-per-view, the UFC wants as many people as possible to watch what might be a momentous evening in the history of the promotion.
