Karolina Kowalkiewicz.

Jessica Andrade soundly overpowered Karolina in UFC 228. In the first minute of their strawweight contender bout at the Dallas-Fort Worth American Airlines Center, Andrade completely overpowered the Polish fighter, who came into the contest with a record of 12-3 in mixed martial arts.

As you can see in the video on top, she made an effort to rise up, but her Brazilian opponent kept coming at her with accurate power strikes until the last one rendered her out on the canvas. Interestingly, this was the first time the Polish fighter lost via knockout in her career, and it is reasonable to say that this defeat will linger in her mind for a very long time. But in the end, Andrade had the most satisfying triumph.

Rose Namajunas

Following her fight with Karolina Kowalkiewicz, she subsequently faced Rose Namajunas, who was coming for her second championship defense at UFC 237, the event held at the Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Andrade’s homeland. She soon demonstrated her talent by capturing the strawweight belt in front of her home crowd.

By way of a second-round knockout (slam), the Brazilian overcame Namajunas to win the title in May 2019. She astounded the whole audience, including the commentator, who had only seconds earlier claimed that she couldn’t lift Namajunas from her current position. However, she lifted her and knocked her out cold to win the title at home.

Jessica Penne

The first time is always memorable, as Andrade defeated Jessica Penne, in 2016 to get her maiden KO/TKO victory. The victory is noteworthy not just because it was Jessica Andrade’s first KO/TKO victory, but also because of the manner she dominated her opponent. It was this exceptional performance that made a statement to the UFC community that Jessica Andrade is here to stay. Watch the video below.

As Penne tries to defend, she became caught against the cage as Andrade continued to fire combination after combination. Although Penne managed to survive the first round, the second one was even more difficult for her. Following a string of heavy shots, the referee intervened and called time on the fight. After seeing this, it would be fascinating to see whether Andrade can give her another KO victory so she can add Blanchfield to this list.
