Both Ribas and Barber enter the fight with a winning record. At UFC 285, Ribas most recently defeated Viviane Araujo to avenge a split-call defeat to Katlyn Chookagian in her previous fight. In her last five races, the veteran Brazilian has alternated between victories and defeats.
With a recent split decision victory over Andrea Lee, Barber, 24, has won four straight fights after Roxanne Modafferi’s defeat caused her to reevaluate her career. This is the longest winning streak in her UFC career.
The Co-main event will feature Emmett vs Topuria fight at the 125 lbs division.
