Nassourdine Imavov potential purse and payout at UFC Fight Night 217 against Sean Strickland

According to reports, Nassourdine Imavov earned $44,500 for his last fight at UFC 268 against Edmen Shahbazyan. However, there is no break-up as to how much of this was his base pay, and how much was his win bonus.

Therefore, if we consider this amount from his last fight, along with a potential performance bonus at UFC Fight Night 217 and sponsorships, Nassourdine Imavov could earn $100,000 for his fight against Sean Strickland.

In his last bout against Jared Cannonier in 2021, Strickland earned a reported $216,000. Out of this, $200,000 was his base pay. Since he lost, he did not receive any win bonus. The remaining $16,000 was from sponsorships.

Therefore, if we consider these figures, Strickland could earn close to $300,000 if he beats Nassourdine Imavov. $200,000 base pay, a potential $50,000 performance bonus, and sponsorships.

While the UFC or the fighters won’t reveal their actual earnings, it is safe to say that both fighters will earn somewhere around the amount mentioned above. And since the event is not a PPV event, there will be no PPV bonus either.

What do you make of these figures? Do you think they are payouts befitting a main event?
