UFC: 29-year-Old Brazilian and Ex-UFC Fighter Dies After Getting Hit By Bus: UFC News: Felipe Colares, a former UFC fighter, tragically passed away at the age of 29 on Monday in Brazil after being struck by a bus. Follow UFC News Updates with InsideSport.IN.

Colares, also known as “Caboco,” was hit while walking through the streets of Guaratiba, a sizable neighbourhood in Rio de Janeiro’s West Zone.

Colares had reportedly just concluded a training session when the tragedy happened, according to the Brazilian publication. The bad news was also confirmed by the MMA fighter’s teammate, Kleydson Rodrigues.

In 2013, Colares started a professional MMA career. He dominated right away, winning his first eight fights. Later, in 2019, he made his UFC debut against Geraldo de Freitas Jr.

Spinnin Backfist has shared the news of the former UFC & current Ares FC fighter’s death online on Twitter. 

Fans have mourned the loss of a great fighter who offered a lot to the world of MMA and UFC. People have commented on the post saying “This is horrible”.

Colares continued to compete in fights promoted by Dana White up to his release in 2022. Between 2019 and 2022, the former featherweight champion of Jungle Fight went 2-4 in the UFC, winning over Domingo Pilarte and Luke Sanders. After losing to Chris Gutierrez and Chase Hooper, he departed the organization.

The news is terrible. May his family and loved ones find the strength to deal with such a huge loss.
