Adesanya looked brilliant in the UFC 281 headliner against Pereira where he was defending his middleweight belt. He scored shots and dominated the bout until Pereira unloaded his best strikes, Adesanya couldn’t weather it and ended up getting TKO-ed.

A win over Gilbert Burns will clearly do that for him.

The entire UFC 287 fight card is yet to be announced. But the promotion has already booked some promising bouts Apart from the main-event and co-main event, UFC 287 has a lot more to be looked at.
Talking about the event, Dana White said, “Alex Pereira vs Israel Adesanya in the rematch. The co-main event is Gilbert Burns vs the BMF title holder Jorge Masvidal, Kevin Holland vs Ponzinibbo, Rosas Jr vs Rodriguez, and the fight that should be an absolute war Font vs Yanez.”
