In a chat with Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports, Alexander Volkanovski told “Obviously if you fight it’s gonna be a normal contract, right? But I mean, there’s a chance of that fight not happening. So for me, this is a commitment.”
If Colby Covington fights at UFC 286, he shall earn his contracted base money. Upon winning, he shall get the win bonus and more bonuses shall be added depending on the accoladed the fight earn.
According to the reports of MMA salaries, Colby Covington earned a $500 K Base salary against Jorge Masvidal in UFC 272, which was a $100k downfall from his $600k base salary against Kamaru Usman in UFC 268.
