It was surprising since Francis Ngannou’s future in the promotion was put in doubt by Jon Jones’s presence on the poster with Gane. However, before this, the UFC officially announced its upcoming two Pay-Per-View main events, with Alexander Volkanovski taking on Islam Makhachev for the lightweight title at UFC 284 and Glover Teixeira and Jamahal Hill squaring off for the vacant light heavyweight title at UFC 283.

Later, UFC confirmed that the heavyweight matchup between Jon Jones and Ciryl Gane which is scheduled to take place in March in Las Vegas, Nevada. Let’s take a look at the details of the match.

UFC 285: Jon Jones vs Ciryl Gane: Match details

After UFC Vegas 67 ended, UFC President Dana White officially announced at a press conference that Jones and Gane will compete for the undisputed heavyweight championship at UFC 285.

The match will be held on March 4 at T-Mobile Arena, and tickets will go on sale at AXS.com starting on January 20. And as usual, Indian fans who cannot make it to the stadium can watch the action live on the Sony LIV app.

Whereas, ESPN+ and UFC Fight Pass in the US will show the action live. Since it is Jones’ return match, tickets must be secured as soon as they become available if you wish to attend the event in person. Given the fact the event already made the fans go bonkers.
