Leon Edwards suggests Kamaru Usman to stick with Wrestling:
However, Rocky is not impressed with Usman in spite of the fact he was dominated in their first fight.
He is confident and believes that he has come long ways from that fight and would claim the title after beating Usman.
Leon said “All this pound-for-pound talk, I don’t see it. I don’t see it in his fights, I don’t see it in his techniques. He’s a very good fighter, he has improved. I’m not going to into this flight blind thinking he’s another wrestler, but I just don’t see it.”
Usman has a new found love in striking. He has finished guys like Jorge Masvidal, Gilbert Burns and Colby Covington.

Although Leon Edwards is still not fan and suggested Usman to stick with wrestling. He said “If I was him, I’d try to come out and wrestle me.”
He praised himself as a better striker and a more complete mix martial artist. Rocky did acknowledge the elite wrestling Usman has in his arsenal and suggested him to stick with it if he wants a chance to retain the Welterweight Title.
However, Usman was quite intrigued with the statement and replied by saying “When it comes down to it, let’s be honest he don’t want to Wrestlers with me.”
Usman said he has over 20 years of experience in wrestling and there are levels to the ground game.
Nigerian Nightmare earned himself a dominant victory over Leon Edwards in their first encounter because of his wrestling. Leon has developed a better ground game since then but Usman’s skills are still elite.
