N’golo Kante scored early on as Chelsea took the early lead at the Dacia Arena. New signing Raheem Sterling opened his Chelsea account with a bit of luck before Gerard Deulofeu scored on the rebound to pull one back for the hosts. Udinese vs Chelsea Friendly LIVE: Chelsea seal a 3-1 victory against Serie A side in Pre-Season friendly

Scorers: Delofeu 42′; Kanté 20′, Sterling 37′, Mount 90′

French midfielder N’golo Kanté gave Chelsea a first-half lead. The 31-year-old collected the ball and drove towards the Udinese penalty area before firing a low, powerful shot into the bottom corner.

Opening his account for the Blues, Raheem Sterling doubled the lead 10-minutes before half-time having been played through by Jorginho. The England international’s effort was well saved by the ball rebounded off of the forward and into the net.

Almost immediately the hosts responded in kind as Gerard Delofeu latched onto a loose ball following Édouard Mendy’s save to half the deficit.

Sterling hit the post in the second half before England international Mason Mount put the game to bed in the 90th minute when he tapped home Calum Hudon-Odoi’s low cross to make it 3-1.
