The wrestler from Mongolia is very experienced and also has top 8 finish at the World Wrestling Championship to her credit.
If the Indian can put it across Bolortuya – she will face winner of Taybe Mustafa (Egypt) vs Lail Nunnes (BRA). Nunnes is ranked No. 3 in the world in the category and will prove to be a tough opponent for Sonam to handle. Overall Malik could not have asked for a better draw than what she has got.
In Semi-Finals the winner from the half will play Japan’s World Champion Yukako Kawai.
