Tokyo Olympics Hockey live: Indian Women Hockey ready for big Australia test, Follow India vs Australia Quarterfinal live
Tokyo Olympics Hockey live – India vs Australia LIVE: Rani Rampal and Co. looked set for a repeat of their Rio Olympics disappointment when they lost their three opening games in Pool A.
However, the side did well to bounce back from adversity and claimed a pivotal win over Ireland to keep them in the hunt for the quarter-finals. India women’s hockey team then proceeded to clinch a 4-3 win over South Africa, which eventually sealed their progression after the Irish lost to Great Britain.
The side would however know that there will be no room for error against the mighty Australians, who are currently ranked second in the FIH rankings. The Aussies finished atop Pool B to set tup their clash against India, and will be overwhelming favourties. India will have their backs against the wall in this one, but Rani Rampal and Co. will aim for another historic achievement on Monday.
