The Hundred Women’s Final: Oval Invincibles beat Southern Brave by 48 runs to clinch first-ever The Hundred title: In a fantastic bowling show, Oval Invincibles defended 122 runs in 100 balls to beat Southern Brave by 48 runs in The Hundred women’s final to clinch the title. Marizanne Kapp was the star of the match, bagging four wickets and scoring 26 off 14.
Put into bat, Oval Invincibles struggled to get partnerships going and despite good efforts from Marizanne Kapp, Alice Capsey and Mady Villiers, they could only set a target of 127 for Souther Braves in the Hundred Final at Lord’s.

Southern Brave struggled from the beginning in the chase. They lost six wickets in 16 runs and folded for 73.
Southern Brave captain Anya Shrubsole bowled an excellent spell of 20 balls, giving away only 16 runs in exchange for two wickets. Lauren Bell was also successful scalping two wickets for 24 runs.
