The Ashes: Tim Paine sexting scandal: Days after Tim Paine – former Australia Test captain – resigned from the team following a sexting scandal leaked to the media, his brother-in-law Shannon Tubb is also being investigated for alleged messages to the same Cricket Tasmania (CT) employee. Shannon Tubb, who is married to Paine’s sister, is accused of sexting the same woman. The South Australia Cricket Association will hold its own investigation into the matter. The news of Shannon Tubb being involved in the scandal appeared on Sunday. It is being learned that the claims were made in the same complaint made to Cricket Australia from representatives of the former Cricket Tasmania female employee in 2018. However, Cricket Tasmania declined to make any comment on Tubb’s investigations.

  • He has played 12 first-class games between 2000 and 2006 & left Cricket Tasmania in 2018
  • Tubb is now the head coach of the South Australia Cricket Association’s academy pathways program.
  • The South Australia Cricket Association will hold its own investigation

“Mr Tubb, who has all the required police clearances, commenced employment with SACA in 2018 as a talent coordinator and is currently employed as the head coach for the academy pathways program,” the SACA said.
