Batting first Thailand did not put up a massive score with UAE bowlers doing well in the contest. The good thing about Thailand has been their ability for someone to stand up when required. After their openers failed in the first innings, Naruemol Chaiwai top-scored with 37 runs while Sornnarin Tippoch delivered with 25.
Both the innings were rather slow, but it was important contribution in the middle overs. Rosenan Kanoh applied the finishing tocuhes with 19 runs. It helped them end with 108/4.

The score was not a massive one, but Thailand WOmen as they have showed, have strong character. They never give up, and have the self belief to do well.
They used seven bowlers in the second innings, and all of them delivered somehow or the other. If some of them chipped with wickets, others were able to contain the UAE batters. Thipatcha Putthawong and Onnicha Kamchomphu were the best bowlers for them, scalping two wickets each.
As for UAE, none of their batters really got their A game going. Barring Kavisha, who scored 29, no one did well. Only three players were able to score in double figures. Rest of the 8 players were out for less than 10 runs. Eventually they only managed 89/8 in 20 overs.
