Victoria Azarenka credits ‘Mom Brain’ for forgetting her 1st career title in Brisbane

Azarenka has two singles titles in Brisbane.

Two-time Grand Slam champion Victoria Azarenka seems to have forgotten everything about her early days. After winning her Round of 16 match at the Brisbane International 2024, the 34-year-old has revealed that she doesn’t know much about her playing career or accolades during her early tennis career.

Azarenka stated that her forgetfulness is directly related to her son, Leo. The star tennis player gave birth to her son in 2016 and has apparently forgotten everything that happened in her tennis career before.

After beating France’s Clara Burel, Victoria Azarenka was asked whether she remembered her first single title win in Brisbane, 15 years ago. To this, she replied:

“Honestly, not much. I have a mom’s brain. Since my son was born, anything before that I don’t remember much. I think a lot of moms can relate to that.”
