Nadal has been cruising in the Brisbane International right now. The 22-time Grand Slam winner has won his first two matches of the tournament in straight sets, setting up a quarter final tie with Jordan Thompson.

Nadal has been moving quite freely in the court, showing no signs of the injury that kept him out from competitive Tennis for a year.

Talking about how he his feeling, Nadal said, “I’ve had a year without playing with the tension of a real match, so I felt a little bit of muscles tired here & there. In general terms, I felt good, no? Important thing is the surgery on the psoas-iliac & the hip, that’s not bothering me at all. That’s something that is super important for me,” Nadal said.

“For the moment, the foot is answering well. That’s for me the main issue, that the foot is problematic. For the moment I am able to move myself with no limitations. That makes me feel happy & be able to play better without a doubt.” Nadal added.
