Bhambri-Olivetti will end the clay season with an 11-7 record together, including a title at the BMW Open and a final in Lyon.

Yuki Bhambri has crashed out of the French Open. Partnering with home favorite Albano Olivetti, world no. 51 was knocked out by the unseeded duo of John Peers and Roman Safiullin in the first round, 6-3, 7-6(5). Bhambri was coming off a final run at the Lyon Open and was looking to make a further push in the ATP Rankings ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Yuki Bhambri-Albano Olivetti completely outplayed

Playing on Court 10, Bhambri and Olivetti weren’t able to do much in what was a serve-dominant match. Only three breaks of serve were witnessed in the entire match. The Indian-French duo converted just one of the four opportunities they had and even pushed Peers and Safiullin into a tiebreaker but couldn’t grab hold of the second set.
