T20 WORLD CUP Bangladesh (BAN) Overview – Bangladesh has also looked off-color in the tournament so far. They have blown hot and cold with two wins and three defeats in five games played so far. They had a disappointing start to their campaign as they faced 6 runs loss against Scotland in the opening fixture. However, the Mahmudullah led side bounced back and secured back-to-back handsome wins over Oman and minnows Papua New Guinea to advance into the Super 12 round.
In the Super 12 round, Bangladesh has faced 5 wickets defeat against Sri Lanka and 8 wickets defeat against England. The team has mostly revolved around a couple of players especially Shakib Al Hasan, and it’s high time the others join the party to stay alive in the competition.
