IND vs PAK Tickets: The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup begins in Australia on October 16. Nevertheless, the most sought-after ticket in the tournament is for the match between the two bitter rivals on October 23 at the 100,000-seat Melbourne Cricket Ground.
As per a report by The Australian, some initial buyers have been seen selling the 23 October 2022 India vs. Pakistan tickets 50 times more than the advertised selling price in the black market through social media.
According to a member of the Facebook group for Indians in Melbourne, when he tried to purchase through the official channel, tickets “went out in the first 5 minutes of being made available.”
People are “trying to sell a $A20 ticket for $A400 and in some cases even $A500 on social media”, he further continued.

Another Melbourne fan, Saloni Varma Negi has been quoted by the paper. She has warned against this kind of selling.
“For those who are selling T20 tickets to the IND vs PAK match on the 23rd of October, at almost over 300% profits,” Ms. Negi said in the Facebook group for Indians in Melbourne. This has been reported to the Department for further investigation. Screenshot Evidences has been submitted of tickets being offered with sellers details.”
T20 World Cup media manager Max Abbott told The Australia that they have “not received any formal complaints, but we are aware of instances of some people and third parties illegally offering to sell tickets above face value.”
Mr Abbott says that they are aware that tickets for Ind vs Pak match “are in high demand” and this can “lead to some people or third parties taking advantage of genuine fans.”
Meanwhile Indian Cricket team currently is in PERTH and will be involved in a training session at 11AM on Saturday.
India Practice T20 WC – India Squad T20 WC: India Practice Session LIVE: Rohit Sharma-led India had a optional training session in Perth on Friday. The squad will have proper TRAINING SESSION starting today at 11AM at WACA. The team management confirmed to InsideSport that team will have a rigorous 5 hour session at the GROUND for next two days to acclimatize to the conditions. The session starts at 11am IST and will finish at 4PM. Team will have LUNCH at the GROUND itself.
