The Netherlands have pulled off one of the biggest upsets in the history of the ICC T20 World Cup and sent South Africa tumbling out of semi-final contention at the tournament with an impressive 13-run victory over the Proteas in Adelaide on Sunday.
India will also be buoyed by Netherlands’ heroics, as Rohit Sharma’s side are automatically through to the final four as a result of the upset victory. India then managed their match as per their will. India batted well against Zimbabwe and then bowled them out, thereby registering a 71 run victory.
With this win, India now has topped group 2 and will face England in the semi-finals.

Group 2 Runners-up: England – 7pts (+0.473 NRR)
England recovered from their shock loss against Ireland to win their final two matches and maintain a run-rate advantage over Australia.
Jos Buttler’s side will face the winners of Group 2 in the final four, although may require a selection change after Dawid Malan was forced off against Sri Lanka due to injury.
England’s semi-final will be at the Adelaide Oval on Thursday, 10 November.
