Wriddhiman Saha (Bengal): Wriddhiman Saha will be featuring for Bengal in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. The 37-year-old had a poor outing in this IPL season, aggregating 131 runs from 9 matches for Sunrisers Hyderabad. On the opening day of SMAT 2021, Wriddhiman Saha and Bengal will face Chattisgarh. He will want to regain his form.
Ruturaj Gaikwad (Maharashtra): Ruturaj Gaikwad was the star performer of the IPL this year. The 24-year-old had aggregated 635 runs from 16 matches for Chennai Super Kings and was Orange Cap holder of the tournament. Ruturaj Gaikwad will be leading Maharashtra in Mushtaq Ali Trophy this season. Maharashtra will face defending champions Tamil Nadu on the opening day of SMAT 2021

Shahrukh Khan (Tamil Nadu): Shahrukh Khan was one of the emerging stars for Tamil Nadu in the last season. The 26-year-old helped the team enter the semifinals with an unbeaten knock of 40 runs off 19 balls against Himachal Pradesh. Shahrukh Khan was brought by Punjab Kings for a whopping Rs 5.25 crore. He played 11 matches and aggregated 153 runs for the franchise. Tamil Nadu will be playing opening game of SMAT 2021 against Maharashtra.
Saurabh Tiwary (Jharkhand): Saurabh Tiwary will be leading the Jharkhand team in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy this season. After starring for a struggling Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2021 Phase 2 in UAE, aggregating just 115 runs from 5 matches, Saurabh Tiwary will look to continue the same form in SMAT 2021. Jharkhand will face Rajasthan in the opener.

Venkatesh Iyer (Madhya Pradesh): Venkatesh Iyer was one of the star performers of this IPL season. The 26-year-old played a crucial role in helping Kolkata Knight Riders reach the final. Venkatesh Iyer had aggregated 370 runs from 10 matches and was the third-highest run-getter for KKR in IPL 2021. Madhya Pradesh will face Assam in the opening match of SMAT 2021.
Chetan Sakariya (Saurashtra): Chetan Sakariya emerged as one of the rising stars in Indian cricket. In his debut outing in IPL this year, the 23-year-old pacer had managed to impress by picking up 14 wickets from 14 matches for Rajasthan Royals. Chetan Sakariya will play for Saurashtra in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy this season. Saurashtra will take on Hyderabad in their opening match of SMAT 2021.

Nitish Rana (Delhi): Nitish Rana had yet another great IPL season this year for Kolkata Knight Riders. The 26-year-old had aggregated 383 runs from 17 matches and was also the second-highest leading run-scorer for KKR. Nitish Rana will return to domestic cricket and play for Delhi in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Delhi will take on Uttarakhand in their opening match of SMAT 2021.
Sanju Samson (Kerala): Sanju Samson had a great outing in this IPL season for Rajasthan Royals. The 27-year-old Keralite batsman aggregated 484 from 14 matches and was also captain of the team. Sanju Samson will lead Kerala and will look to continue his fine run of form and make a comeback to the national team. Kerala will play the opening match of SMAT 2021 against Gujarat.

Prithvi Shaw (Mumbai): Prithvi Shaw had an exceptional outing in IPL this year, aggregating 479 runs from 15 matches for Delhi Capitals. Also, he was also second highest run-scorer after Shikhar Dhawan for the franchise. The 21-year-old had a record-breaking season in Vijay Hazare Trophy. Prithvi Shaw will return to domestic cricket as vice-captain of the Mumbai team who will take on Karnataka in their opening match of SMAT 2021.
Devdutt Padikkal (Karnataka): Devdutt Padikkal has emerged as one of the star players in IPL in the last two years. The 21-year-old had a decent outing in this IPL season, aggregating 411 runs, including a century, from 14 matches for Royal Challengers Bangalore. Devdutt Padikkal will play for Karnataka in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy this season. Karnataka will face Mumbai in their opening match of SMAT 2021.
